A very interesting set, with certain features that resemble other sets of Dutch origin and other features resembling German origin. The Kings' faces and especially their crowns are Dutch-like, but the Selenus-type galleries and double-knightheads are more typical of German/Austrian sets. Bishop heads are Geislingen in appearance. Kings 10 cm high. My Picasa album with photos of this set: https://picasaweb.google.com/JonCrumiller/PossiblyGermanSelenusTypeSet |
