Lund-type Ivory Chess Set circa 1850

AN ENGLISH LUND TYPE IVORY CHESS SET, circa 1850, one side stained red, the other side left natural, kings surmounted with Maltese crosses, queens with feather finials, bishops with open split mitres, knights as horses' heads, rooks as turrets, pawns with reeded ball finials, the king 10cm high, the pawn 4.5cm high.
