Jaques Carton Pierre box

Mahogany fitted-box Jaques sets were/are the most expensive and desirable, but also highly desirable are Jaques sets that were sold with a Carton Pierre box. The box forms a strong chess motif on each side.

I have 7 or 8 Carton Pierre boxes in the collection - mostly normal-sized and several large-sized.
