Another fine example of a Jaques In Statu Quo 19th travel set with bone pegged pieces stained red and left natural.  The mahogany and rosewood board with locking mechanism is stamped: "In Statu Ouo...Chess Board... Jaques & Son...Patentees... London ", with a black leather slip case.  The black leather slipcase is stamped in gold "The In Statu Quo Chess Board...Jaques & Son Ltd....Patentees... London ".
